Eleanor Gaillard-Purcell BA (Hons) is a fully qualified and experienced Music Theory, Singing and Piano teacher, and has been teaching Piano lessons, Singing lessons and Music Theory lessons to adults and children of all ages and abilities for the last 27 years. 

 

Eleanor teaches up to, and including, Grade 8 (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) in Piano, Singing and Music Theory. A CV, and portfolio of past exam results are available to view on request. Please click HERE for more information about ABRSM exams.

 

Eleanor prides herself in her understanding that each student is unique, both in their musical tastes and in what they are hoping to achieve from their lessons. Although Classically trained, Eleanor has a love for many other styles of music and enjoys teaching piano improvisation skills and composition skills, as well as giving guidance on playing by ear.

Throughout her career as a private music/ piano teacher, Eleanor has gained valuable experience as an accompanist, accompanying singers and a variety of other solo instruments for ABRSM exams. Please contact Eleanor for more information on her music exam accompanist services.
